We always wanted a dog and only had a stuffed one, whom we decided to name "Choogans". As we finally built the courage to adopt our own little chihuahua, we realized we should give him a Spanish name for being half Mexican! (he's also half pug). Choogans then became Chuguins- pronounced the same!!

I chose this name for my puppy due to the fact that my late Mums maiden name was Mackay, I wanted to name her with a name that had a relevance to my Mum.

Riding home from the Hawaiian Humane Society, we tried out a number of different names, and Kona was what she responded to. She's a tri-color Springer Spaniel (brown and black and white) living in Honolulu, so Kona suits her well...!

I just named my purebred Boxer, Juno. My husband liked the name "Hera" but I didnt'. I searched for countless hours for a dog name that 'fit' her and came across "Juno". I liked it and it just so happened to be the same as "Hera"...it's PERFECT. The meaning of Juno/Hera is why I named my dog this name.

Sparky turned up at our workshop....He was a stray. Our workshop is an Auto Electrical Shop.....Hence the name Sparky
