Art Baker was an actor best known as the host of TV's "You Asked for It" and radio's "Art Baker's Notebook," which ran for more than 20 years.

He was one of television's first popular features as emcee of "You Asked for It," which started in 1951 as a show where viewers requested footage of things they wanted to see. Baker traveled all over the world to obtain film for the show.
