Frank Albertson began his career in the mid-1920s as a photography laboratory assistant at the old Lasky Studios.

Extra parts diverted him from an ambition to be a cameraman and he had his first success at William Fox Studios in 1928. His films included "Men Without Women," "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court"and "Ah Wilderness."
