Film and television actor Henry Rowland first appeared on screen in a small role in "Safari" (1940), which starred Douglas Fairbanks Jr.

Rowland was often called upon to play a Nazi soldier including his uncredited appearance in "Casablanca" (1942).

Rowland's credits included minor roles in big-name films "The Asphalt Jungle" (1950), "Friendly Persuasion" (1956) and "The Frisco Kid" (1979); B-western films such as “Wagon Team” (1952) with Gene Autry and “Two Guns and a Badge” (1954); and recurring television appearances on "The Cisco Kid," "Annie Oakley," as Count Kolinko on "Zorro," "The Roy Rogers Show" and "Gunsmoke" among many others.
