Lefty Frizzell's nasal voice and slurring lyrics gave him four simultaneous top-10 hits in 1952.

He broke into the big time of country music in 1950 at the age of 22. Both sides of his records became No. 1 in that year — "I Love You in a Thousand Ways" and "If You've Got the Money, Honey, I've Got the Time."
