Aaron Nathanel Medrano, 21

Aaron Nathanel Medrano, a 21-year-old Latino, died Sunday, Dec. 21, two days after he was stabbed at Mason Ave. and Saticoy St. in Winnetka, according authorities.

Medrano had been stabbed once in the neck, according to a Los Angeles Police Department news release. Officers called to the scene shortly after 1:30 a.m. said that Medrano told  them he had been attacked by his friend, Andres Olmedo, a 21-year-old Latino. 

Medrano was taken to hospital, where surgeons operated.

Officers arrested Olmedo in connection with the assault. After Medrano died, Olmedo was re-booked on suspicion of murder arrest charges.
