Adrian Flores, a 24-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Thursday, May 6, in the 9800 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Pacoima, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Authorities found Flores in an apartment with a gunshot wound about 4:30 a.m., said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Winter said.

Another person at the location also was shot, Winter said. The individual, who was not identified by authorities, was taken to a hospital and is expected to live.

Investigators do not have any details about what led the shooting.
