Agnes Bratton

Agnes Bratton, a 79-year-old white woman, sustained a blunt-force head injury and died Sunday, Oct. 25, in the 6300 block of Gotham Street in Bell Gardens, authorities said.

Bell Gardens police, responding to a 911 call, found Bratton and an injured adult male believed to be her son about 10:15 a.m., according to a news release.

Bratton died at the scene and the man, whose name was not released, had what appeared to be self-inflicted wounds and was taken to a hospital for treatment, authorities said.
