Albert Chim, 23

Died Feb. 14, 2007 at 7:38 p.m.

Albert Chim, a 23-year-old Latino man, was shot multiple times outside at 7201 Lennox Ave. in Van Nuys and died at 7:38 p.m. Feb. 14.

Police said Chim was crossing out gang graffiti and putting up his own when three assailants, all Latino males, attacked. He was shot several times and died later at a hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (818) 374-0040.

Albert was my best friend we met at 11 years old and wouldnt separate after that. Regardless of his way of life he was an awesome person with an amazing heart. I cant understand why he chose the life he was living but again regardless he was an amazing person and he will always be in my heart. Love you Chim!!!!

it's been 4yrs of your death but to me it feels like if it was yestrday you where not only my little brother you where my friend you always looking out for me and my kids you where like a dad to them we miss you so much not only me but our mom to you left a pain in her hart the day of your death cuz they took her baby alway from her and she's never goind to see oh hold you in her arms oh kiss oh see her self in your eyes again your lost change ours lifes me and your whole family miss you so much trouble your always in my hart till death carnalito I love you so much missing trouble your sister the love you and misses you :)

Tio its has been 4 years since you died but your death doesnt change anything you were a great uncle to me and I will always have you in my heart no matter where you are you will always be remembered by me, my grandma and my aunt and we miss you so much and every time that day comes I remeber it. It's not easy to forget about an uncle that got murdered on valentines because that was the day that love was spread out to you I miss you and I love you uncle
