As far as Mexicans being Mestizos, in theory that is true but now we are our OWN race. Just like Blacks; no one tries to group them and say, "well theyʻre 1/3 Swahili, 1/3 Nigerian, and 1/3 Mofongo". Now, they are known as African Americans. Same with us. We are Mexicans and we are our own race. Sure, there are Mayas and Aztecs still around just like there are Nigerians, Ethiopians, Somalians, etc. Catch my drift? EVEN if the Census or other forms try to classify us as non-white or Hispanic White, or whatever. Comprende?

thats sad...it happened outside my friends house...its a shame that these people are hurting and killing innocent people...just yesterday a young man was killed no to far down the same street....the community should stand up for itself....im sick and tired of seeing santa monica and western being terrorized by the gang bangers, or tag bangers...whatever they want to call themselves.....we need to stop this...this man was just coming back from work and he now leaves a family behind... r.i.p alfonso (and to answer if he was white or hispanic...you guys are morons who cares...they killed a man, they took someone life and you guys are debating on what his races says on this report??)
