Alfred Chavez, 23

Alfred Chavez, 23, a Latino man, was shot and killed Sunday, April 6, in the 400 block of Edgley Drive in Monterey Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.

According to coroner's records, Chavez had been attending a party when guests heard gunshots outside and called the police. Police found him in a nearby driveway and took him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
