My name is Bernie I just don’t know were to start. I grew up with Freddy most of my life and I am just heart broken that I just found out about him. If anything, I can say that he was a very special friend and I will miss him very much. Freddy was the first person that talked to me when I moved on 48thst that was 25 years ago. Last time I heard from him was in 2006 he left me a message on my phone. I called him back the next day and the phone was disconnected makes me think why didn’t I just call him back right away. I have lost contact with every one on 48th street since I live so far away but if any one can get in contact with me, I would really appreciate it. My sincere condolences to his wife and to all his family. Rest in peace Freddy

This piece of garbage deserves nothing. Police were justified to shoot him because he presented a clear and present danger to authorities. The decision must be appealed and no money should be given to the family.

— Robert Graham, were you there at the scene? Why are you so convince tha the victim deserved to get killed by cops? Why don't you provide us detail and factual informatio of why this suspected deserved to died by the police?

And just to make it clear to the wife! Well not so clear because she knows.. It's not 'two' children is THREE!!
Stop being selfish and stop thinking about your self and acknowledge the fact that he does have another child that also never got to meet her father! Just stop and think that things could've not been the way they are and if it was the other way around I'm sure it would have hurt you to see that your children weren't being acknowledge.. And if u care so much about your kids not having a father then maybe try to bring them around his family and let them get to know their sister! Mrs. Montalvo
