What's with this area? When are the white rich people gonna move in and start making it fashionable, bring up the real estate prices and make the area expensive and drive out gangs. thats the solution.

^^^ uh Wrong!!! If u do that then u suppress the people into a life of crime jus to make ends meat.. My city needs more positive activities that gets the people to communicate more. Tryin to move us out and take away our homes will only create a more hostile environment.

— Ricky Smitts, there already is a hostile environment. That's why we have a homicide report.

-- SYSCOM3, the keyword you overlooked is MORE. It has become hostile due to the lack of jobs and proper resources. If u do as "JOE" insist then your just moving the problem to another area, or your just dividing it which will create MORE hostile environments. Understand you can't just come in takeover, move everybody out and that will be the end of it. You have to understand alot of people in this city are here because society trapped them here.

"You have to understand alot of people in this city are here because society trapped them here. "

No. They are there either for their own lifestyle choices or for the political leaders they elected.

Let me sum it up like this. The very people who complain the loudest about having no jobs are the same ones who vote in the same set of do nothing politicians decade after decade. From federal level to local city councils. After 30 years of having political power, has your schools gotten any better? Job opportunities plentiful? Is your neighborhoods over crowded and looking like a 3rd world city?

Why is that? Is it because you reelect the same old sloganeers who do nothing?

As for gentrification; blame it on the liberals who run this state. The same party you vote for. They want transportation costs jacked up to the point where the "rich white people" will need to move back to the inner city. And that inevitably means the poor black and latino folks will be displaced. Remember that on election day.

Is the previous comment really syscom3?
"Let me sum it up like this" - this does not sound like syscom3 or his/her writing style.
