Anita Henderson, 51

Died Nov. 8, 2012

Anita Henderson, a 51-year-old black woman, was struck in the head and killed Thursday, Nov. 8, in the 2100 block of South Redondo Avenue in Mid-City, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Patrol officers found Henderson lying in her driveway with head trauma about 5 p.m., police said.

Los Angeles Fire Department rescue personnel responded and pronounced Henderson dead at the scene.

Authorities have yet to identify a suspect or motive for the killing. They have asked local businesses and residents for any video surveillance from the day of the crime.

Hello crystal...i live right down the street from where this terrible situation occured...did they ever find out what happened to your aunt, or who did this to her? Its so sad, and also very scary to know that a murderer is still out on the lose..

They say it was a latino gang member from a gang called Drifters aka DFS they be any where from La Brea to cochran venice to pico.
