Anthony Huerta, a 25-year-old Latino, was shot several times and died July 30. Huerta was shot in the 15100 block of Lime Avenue in Compton, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
Craig Harvey, chief coroner investigator, said Huerta was standing outside a home when someone drove up and started shooting at him. The incident happened at 8:50 p.m. and Huerta was pronounced dead at 10 p.m. in the hospital.- Neighborhood: East Compton
