Antonio Arenas, a 35-year-old Latino, was shot several times and died July 31 at San Fernando Road and Cobalt Street in Sylmar, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.Police found Arenas, of Sylmar, at 10:24 a.m. lying in the street with several gunshot wounds after they received a call about an assault with a deadly weapon, according to Los Angeles police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police know of no motive and have no suspect in the killing.
