Antonio Cervantes, 40

Died April 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.

Antonio Cervantes, a 40-year-old Latino man, was mortally wounded in a shooting in the 1300 block of East 62nd Street in Florence about 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, April 2.

According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, Cervantes was riding a motorized Go-Kart west on East 62nd Street when a light-colored van drove up behind him and a person inside shot Cervantes in head.

He was taken to a hospital, where he died at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4.

We miss him dearly, we look forward to seeing him again in earth paradise, Until we meet again babe, as you are temparily sleeping, see you there with the children, we will all be in a better place where there be no more innocent live's taken and we will live forever on earth paradise.
