Armando Ignacio Martinez, 27, a Latino man, suffered multiple gunshot wounds on Artesia Boulevard west of Lakewood Boulevard in Bellflower, and died at the scene at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26.
Sheriff's Sgt. Richard Biddle said that three Latino men or youths drove up to him as he walked on the south side of the street, asked a question, then shot him dead. Anyone with information is asked to call sheriff's homicide at (323) 890-5500.
