Armando Valdez, a 37-year-old Latino, was shot several times and died June 20 in the 1300 block of 69th Street in unincorporated Los Angeles County, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
Valdez was with someone in a "back house" when another person climbed the fence and opened fire, said Craig Harvey, chief coroner investigator and chief of operations for the coroner's office.
Valdez was shot about 1:34 a.m. and died 12 minutes later, Harvey said. No other information was immediately available.

May my boy "Mando" rest in peace. I'll always remember you and Chep as the cats i grew up with who played tackle football in the street, and rode bikes along the tracks to the stores to play video games. Peace brother.
