Avory Dunn, 45, a black man, was shot multiple times in the 300 block of South Poinsettia Avenue in Compton around 11 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Sheriff's detectives are investigating.

East Laurel St. and South Poinsettia Ave.
