Brandon Thompson, 20

Died Aug. 21, 2009 at 4:29 p.m.

Brandon Frazier Thompson, a 20-year-old black man, was stabbed several times in the 12400 block of Eucalyptus Avenue in Hawthorne and died on Friday, Aug. 21, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.

Thompson, of Torrance, apparently went to the home of his ex-girlfriend, where she was living with her current boyfriend, said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office.

Winter said Thompson was trying to enter their home when they decided to leave. Thompson then chased the pair down the street and struck his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend, Winter said.

After he was struck, the man pulled out a weapon and stabbed Thompson several times in the face and back, Winter said. He was pronounced dead at 4:29 p.m.

One reader comment about Brandon Thompson

I remember him as a quiet boy in middle school with the most beautiful blueish greenish eyes. He was much to young to go .
