Brian Miller, 30

Died Nov. 28, 2012 at 6:22 a.m.

Brian Miller, a 30-year-old black man, was fatally shot Wednesday Nov. 28, in the 400 block of North Benton Way in Westlake, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Police responding to a 911 call about 6 a.m. discovered Miller with a gunshot wound to his chest.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at 6:22 a.m.

No other information was available about the killing.

I need more info on this case.This area is ran by the Temple St gang.They are of composed of mixed races,I was looking at the fact that Mr.Miller was in fact a black male.I doubt this was because of his ethnicty,But you never know.I urge anyone with info to please let it be known for the sake of the family.Thank you.

Temple st is Hispanics that fall under the 13.. Which is Mexican mafia tax collected.. Most gangs in area temple st, rock wood, 18st, ms13 etc don't generally like blacks, also temple st is predominantly Mexican or Hispanic not mixed.. There was rarely blacks in 13 controlled gangs unless they are og's 40 years plus

I've been checking back to this report since the day I found in Dec, Brian is my older cousin and was wondering if there has been any advancements in the investigation, I've searched for LT.Trupo/Westlake PD for an email but wasn't able to find one if you can please let me know the updates it'd be appreciated.
