Carlos Gallardo, a 26-year-old Latino, was stabbed in his car on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, in the 14300 block of Ohio Street in Baldwin Park, according to coroner's records.
Police discovered Gallardo with a knife in his chest in a car that had crashed into a curb. With him was Arthur Ortega, 27, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Gallardo was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:30 p.m. Ortega was charged with murder.
