Carlos Gonzalez, 19, a young Latino man, was shot in the 800 block of East Lincoln Street in Carson about 9:37 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials said Gonzalez was attending a party and was standing outside in the street when he was shot multiple times in the upper torso. Authorities said a dark sport-utility vehicle was seen leaving the area. Gonzalez was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
