Carlos Jimenez Jr., a 20-year-old Latino, was found dead Saturday, May 14, in the 2400 block of Chanslor Street in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Jimenez was discovered in a garage. He had been shot several times. Authorities were called and Jimenez was pronounced dead at the scene at 12 p.m.
According to the Daily Bulletin, police are looking for two assailants believed to be connected to the killing.

Carlos was a sweet and harmless young man, very polite and smarter beyond his age. I pray to God that these people responsable are caught, and dealt with.

Carlos was a good friend of mine, he was always happy nd helpful. Did anything to have friends and keep us happy, he never harmed no one. I do hope they catch those bad guys!

Senseless!! Everytime I listen to foreveryoung, it makes you cry of anger of who would do this to a nice young man!!! RIP Carlitos, you're in a better place....

Carlos was a good kid, and a good friend, it seems as if it was just yesterday the last time I spoke to him, you will be missed, R.I.P CARLITOS

i loved carlos he was my cousin from an other husband..it turns my stomach when i read this to think who would hurt a harmeless young man who ever did this i hope they get caught and get whats coming towards them...FOREVER YOUNG! rest in paradise carlos!..save me a seat up there!

his family and i grew up with each other and they are one of the closest people to me. they have always been good to me, and cj has always been a gentlemen to me. it's been months later and i still cant believe that he's gone. i've lost someone close to me and i know what his family is going through. whoever did this, you know who you are. and u will be caught. and if the authorities dont catch you, then god will deal with u however he pleases. regardless you will be in prison for the rest of your life knowing you took someone's life. your day will come when you lose someone you love and you will know exactly how it feels. you wont bring us down because cj will live in our hearts forever as a handsome, kind, young gentlemen who just like everybody else was just trying to find himself.

damn cj was a good friend a good person and a good family member ... he kept to his self and always had a good heart, he was intelligent and a peace maker. all he wanted was to be happy and make friends... i miss him just as much as every one else does.. when someone was hurt or just needed some one to chat with just to ezz the pain he was there... he had heart and he will be forever young and always forever missed.. i got love for you baby boy watch over your fams and keep em safe bkuz we no you are!!! welcome home sincerly, ronnie

Carlitos was a great brother to a friend of mine, I know that he's in a better place now and I pray that everyone who was close to him appreciates the time they spent with him. I met him a couple of times and from what I know -- he was a responsible,empathetic, and intelligent young man. I wish things could of been different, however it's important to never forget the love one has towards family, and to appreciate every day you have with them. I don't know what to say to make you feel better Darci, I hope you at least know that I love you and so did your brother. He looked up to you all his life, and now he's looking over you from a better place. stay strong, and lovely. I'm here if you ever need anything.

A person who I only knew a couple months was a very sweet loving person. Always had a smile on face which ill never forget and to those who did this will not get away and will live with it all there lives ..sorry to his family that there. are people out there that don't know how much hurt they caused u guys but one thing for sure there Gona pay wat they did.r.i.p Carlos. Its been 5 months now and I still can't belive your gone I miss u so much I cry for u because I can no longer talk to you and see how your doing I never thought you would leave. I hate the fact that some people don't have the courage to just fight it out they have to kill because their not strong enough to fight you off. I know deep down inside of them they see your face and they will never in their whole life forget it. Just wish you were here now. You changed a lot of things nothing will ever be the same without you. I love u carlos u can always count on me..

Never once did i ever think i would loose you so soon . Your tha best bigg cousin a littoh girl cousin could have . You kept me safe and Watchedd over me always looked out for my best intrest and i wish i could of been ther to save you . Thers no words that could ever make me feel better .
