Centrail Lindsey, a 28-year-old black man, was shot multiple times at 318 W. Magnolia St. in Compton about 12:05 a.m. Monday, March 10. He was pronounced dead at 12:40 a.m. by paramedics.

Detectives from the sheriff's homicide bureau are investigating.
