Charles Eugene Terrell, a 27-year-old black man, was stabbed to death Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 234 W. Arbor Vitae Ave. in Inglewood, according authorities.

Terrell was walking on the sidewalk when he was confronted by someone and got into an altercation, according to an account by Inglewood city officials.

He was taken to UCLA-Harbor Medical Center where he died of his injuries.
