Chase Hill, a 49-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, Nov. 21, in the 1100 block of 58th Drive in an area of unincorporated Los Angeles County called Florence-Graham, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.
Hill was sitting in the driveway of a residence when an unidentified suspect walked up and shot him once in the head, said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office.
Hill was shot about 7:10 a.m. and was taken to a hospital where he died at 5:24 p.m., Winter said.
