Christian Gibson Sr., a 22-year-old black man, died Monday, June 6, a day after he was shot in the 800 block of Lennon Street in west Compton, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Gibson was shot during an altercation on June 5 about 10:10 p.m.
After the shooting, Gibson was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle, Winter said. He succumbed to his injuries the next day at 5:05 p.m.
Coroner's records show Gibson died from a gunshot wound to the head.

I do send my condolences to the family however, This is not Compton. It is Rosewood or West Rancho Dominguez or still unincorporated part of La County.

Regardless of where this took place the family still needs justice.. My brother from another has been layed to rest but his killer is still out there! God called him home so soon & he is truely missed and loved unconditionally.. Christan justice will be served!!!

Brother I really miss you....Maybe I shouldn't have googled your name cause now I'm crying...Lol.....But if it's 10 yrs. frm now I want your killer found because he's walking around like nothing happen and it hurts.
