Christian Gomez, identified by the coroner's office as a 17-year-old white man, was shot and killed Monday, Nov. 7, in the 400 block of West Anaheim Street in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Long Beach police responded to a report of shots fired about 7:14 p.m. They found Gomez, of Wilmington, with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Gomez was apparently standing near an apartment complex when an unknown suspect fired multiple shots at him, police said. Investigators believe the shooting may be gang-related, but they have not released any information about a suspect.

So sad, so terrible this evil that is ruling our streets. It's too easy to shoot at people and run away. 17, not a chance to grow up. The parents? Are you kidding? Why do people want to blame the victim or their parents? He was 17, not 7. Maybe they were at work? Maybe at home with other kids? Dang! The question is WHERE IS THE MURDERER???
Speak up! Someone knows something! Lets get these killers off our streets!
