Christobal Lira, 32

Christobal Lira, a 32-year-old Latino, was beaten and shot in the 9700 block of Sunland Boulevard in Shadow Hills and died Tuesday, Aug. 18, according to Los Angeles coroner's officials.

Lira was found dead in his yard at 9:15 p.m, said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office. Winter said authorities believe Lira may have been beaten and shot during a home invasion and robbery.
