Cliffton Paul, a 20-year-old black man, was fatally shot at 1035 W. 106th St. in Athens about 4:55 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1.
Paul was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:31 a.m. Detectives with the sheriff's homicide bureau are investigating.
