Daniel Rodriguez, an 18-year-old Latino, was shot several times and died July 23. Rodriguez was shot at 105th Street and Compton Avenue in Watts, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.LAPD Det. Sal LaBarbera said Rodriguez was walking out of a liquor store shortly after 9 p.m. when several people approached him and at least one shot him. Rodriguez was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.
LaBarbera said the killing was most likely gang-related. Police have no description of the suspects and are looking for people who may have information about the crime. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. LaBarbera at (213) 485-4341.
