Danny Renteria Jr., a 26-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Aug. 21, in the 17800 block of Ibbetson Avenue in Bellflower, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Renteria was standing in his front yard about 12:15 a.m. when two men in a white vehicle drove past his home and fired multiple rounds, authorities said.
He was taken to Long Beach Memorial Hospital where he was declared dead at 12:49 a.m., according to coroner's records.
