Darnell Davis, a 2-year-old black toddler, was found with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle on the shoulder of the south bound Long Beach Freeway just south of the 91 freeway in Long Beach. According to coroner's records, Darnell died shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 19.
