Deandre Wynn, 19

Deandre Wynn, a 19-year-old black man, was shot several times Wednesday, April 29, in the 1100 block of East South Street in Long Beach, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Wynn was hit by gunfire while standing with a group of people in an alley behind an apartment complex about 12:30 p.m. An unknown person started shooting into the group, according to Long Beach police. Wynn was taken by paramedics to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center where he died a short time later.

A 21-year old man also was injured in the shooting. The man's family members took him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police say the shooting may be gang-related. Anyone with information about this killing is asked to call Long Beach Police Department Dets. Russ Moss and Teri Hubert at (562) 570-7244.

Thats simply amazing. Many people go through their whole lives without ever knowing a murder victim. But you know three! And all of them happening within a one to two years.

I dont know if you get around a lot, or if its indicative on how bad the urban psychosis has sunk to.

Over a year later..sittin in class and decided to look this up.
I had no idea this was in the news paper. I miss you De and I'll always love you. You were always there for Mom and I. Cedes and Drexel are doin good. Drex gettin big lol and yes, he's bad haha. Thats my lil nephew though and I love him. lookin just like you ohmygawdd haha ily, De rest in peace <3
