Dennis Seagraves, a 21-year-old black man, was fatally shot Sunday, Oct. 31, in the 2300 block of Delta Avenue in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Authorities responded to a call of shots fired about 9:40 p.m., according to a Long Beach Police Department news release.
When officers arrived, they found Seagraves suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was taken by paramedics to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, officials said.
Investigators said witnesses told them that the shooter was an adult male who was seen fleeing the area in a vehicle traveling east on Burnett Street.

Senseless killing,Dennis was minding his own business when this monster just decided they wanted to kill someone, what is wrong with people today, they have no respect for life and those around them. wow thats crazy I went to grade and middle school with him I just found out today my prayers go out to his family..
