Dolores Rodriguez, a 35-year-old Latino, died Monday, Nov. 15, a day after sustaining blunt force trauma near Nadeua Street and Bell Avenue in Florence-Firestone, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Rodriguez suffered a blow minutes before 1 a.m. on Nov. 14, according to a Sheriff's Department news release.
He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead the next day, officials said. According to coroner's records, he sustained head trauma and was possibly struck with a baseball bat.
The Sheriff's Department had no additional information about the case. The Times has contacted investigators and will provide an update as soon as possible.

The night of the incident there was a Pay Per View fight which they were showing across the street at the Nadeau Cafe. There was a man that got into a fight with a guy, the man hit the guy the guy fell and the man ran out and tried to leave in his car. The guy called his friends they ran after the man with a bat and they broke his window. Im sure that the guys that broke that mans window are the same guys that killed Dolores. Im sure if the Detectives go to Nadeau Cafe and look at the video for 11-15 they will find their suspect.
