He had the kindest most generous heart. He was there for everyone/anyone who needed help/support. He loved his wife and family he was so proud of his children and tried to give them the world. He wasn't ready to leave this world and had many plans for the future. He left us all with a wonderful gift and that is to treat each day as if it is our last. We miss you and can't wait to see you again.

Wow... this man gets killed while the barber cuts his hair! whoever did this needs to be caught he obviously didnt care to be seen by witnesses.. Does this barber shop have cameras? Theres another story on here where the same thing happened to another man the guy was getting his hair cut and got shot and killed. Goes to show you..you always have to be aware of your surroundings and watch your back no matter where you may be. I really do hope they get this guy quick.. RIP Domingo

Well is was not mistaken identity. So the list of suspects is probably very long for someone to do a walk up shooting.

it doesn't matter if he was a good guy or a bad guy, NO one should die this way. GOD should be the only to take life away! and for "Yuri" i think she knows the killer, since it seem like she dosen't have a heart! and also knows about the "drugs" and everthings that happends on that block. My heart goes out to the Reyes family and just have in mind that his in GOD hands now. R.I.P Domingo Reyes

Angel - before you get on here and post your piece of mind you may want to invest in a little thing called spell-check.

From the looks of things this was not some random shoting. With that said, Angel GOD did take his life just the way it was meant to be taken. If you believe that God makes no mistakes then this Reyes persons death was handled by God. IF God had wanted this Reyes person to live he would have survived the gun shots but God or a higher power wanted him dead.

People are so fast to judge without having any facts. The fact is that Domingo was my husband and the father of my children. A monster took his life without giving him a chance to fight for it. That just proves that this monster is no real man because a real man fights with his hands.

So sad how the decisions we make when young can hurt so many people...
His past caught up to him that's all.. hopefully the family can move out of the area and live a normal life elsewhere!

Yuri, u have no idea what you are talking about. You watch too many movies.
April 12, 2010 at 8:34 p.m.
Mark, Wish I had time to watch movies.
Since you asked.. now that they posted his pic. this guy is who I thought he was. Even though I was a kid when I use to hang there (where he was killed) I had better judgment than most grown men in the area. AND I LEFT! Too bad they didnt! Instead choose to raise their kids in the same cycle of madness!

Yuri, consider yourself fortunate. The reality of it all is that oftentimes families remain in underserved communities not by choice, but more because of necessity - I venture to say that possible root cause may be that community members residing in these areas face this unique challenge because they do not have the means or access to the resources neccesary (education, financial backing, etc.) to transition to more 'ideal' communities. For you to argue that people reamin in these communities because of 'poor judgement' is in itself poor judgement on your part.

I agree with you (anon)! but the truth-of-the matter is that for every decision there is a consequence..

I was shocked, when I heard that Domingo passed away. Domingo and I were real good Friends and also with my brother Jimmy that also passed away.We all went to Jr.High together, We grew up in the same neighborhood. He was a real cool, funny down to earth guy. It's sad to hear that he's gone. Most of our friends died young and only a few got to see there 20's and 30's. He Will be missed, May God bless all his Family. People are very ignorant and misinformed they shouldn't make stupid comments.

Me and my mom knew him for years,he was a good man. For all you dumb people thinkin' that he was a gang member, well your dead wrong. He was a hard worker and family man. I was at the funeral,so many people love him. I may be 12 but I know wrong from right. The family still misses him so every body just stop speculating.
