Dominique Marsal Neal, 16, a black youth, was shot at 2175 W. Florence Avenue about 10:15 p.m. Thursday, June 19. Neal was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to the LAPD, Neal was at a bus stop when a light-colored vehicle stopped in front of him. A black man in the vehicle fired several shots at Neal, police said. Neal collapsed on the sidewalk, authorities said. The vehicle was last seen heading east on Florence Avenue.
