Four reader comments about Dwayne Smith

I grew up with thia Brother. We use to walk from school with each other (La Tijera) we went on to graduate from grade school, and attended High School together (Inglewood High School). My fondest memory of him was his sense of humor, he was always smiling, and a very pleasant soul to be around. I remember his Big Brother (Big Spider at the time) picked us up from school, and gave us a ride in his Suzuki Jeep, all the neighborhood kids looked up to him. Dwayne was are friend from our childhood, we will always see him?as the kid we spent summers with swimming in his pool at his apartment residenence. We miss you Man, may God bless your family, and most importantly your soul.

As the holidays approach memories of you become more vivid than ever uncle; as you were always the life of the party and family gatherings. I can't believe it's almost been three years since you've been gone. Though I didn't grow up around you, when I moved down to L.A for high school...you definitely reminded me that I was your niece by watching out for me in the neighborhood. I always appreciated that. I know you're still looking out for me from up there in paradise... love you and miss you.
