Eddie Licon, a 41-year-old Latino, was shot and killed on Saturday, Dec. 19, in the 3700 block of Medford Street in City Terrace, authorities said.
Deputies responded to a call about a gunshot victim about 2:23 a.m. and found Licon lying in the sidewalk, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department news release.
Licon was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:33 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the head, according to coroner's records.
