Eduardo Perez, a 16-year-old Latino youth, was shot and killed at 45303 Rodin Ave. in Lancaster at 2:41 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10.
He was standing in the street. Neighbors heard shots, and looked out and saw his body lying there, said Lt. Dave Smith of sheriff's homicide bureau.

i just want to say that police department isnt doing anything about his killer.people comit murders every day and to the cops its just another killing that the cops dont have to deal with..i love and miss u lalo !r.i.p

Theresa, many crimes don't get solved because of a refusal of witnesses to speak. Also the nature of the crime in an urban environment means many of these homicides will never be solved.
This crime has "gang related" written all over it. Good luck to the police to solve this one.
