Edward Jones Jr., 27, a black man, was shot and killed in the 1437 E. 111th Place in Watts about 1:20 a.m. Sunday, June 8. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, authorities said. Detectives from LAPD's Southeast Division are investigating.
