Edward Negrete, a 46-year-old white man, died of blunt-force trauma to the head on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in the 2600 block of East Dominguez Street in Carson, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
One of Negrete's friends found him about 9:40 a.m., said Deputy Aura Sierra of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
