Edward Santana, a 43-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Tuesday, Dec. 27, in the 1900 block of North Marengo Avenue in Pasadena, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Police responded to reports of gunshots about 6 a.m. and discovered Santana's body near Dearborn Street and North Marengo Avenue, said Lt. Pete Hettema of the Pasadena Police Department.

“We went out and found this deceased male in the street with at least one gunshot wound,” Hettema said.

Hettema said no arrests have been made.
