Edwin Marin, a 20-year-old Latino, died Saturday, May 8, on the corner of Van Nuys and Foothill boulevards in Lake View Terrace, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Marin was driving a vehicle about 2:40 a.m. when he was shot, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.

Authorities were called, and Marin was pronounced dead at the scene, Winter said.
