Died July 7, 2010
Elden Mignault, a 19-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, July 7, in the 10000 block of Wilmington Avenue in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Mignault got into a fight with another male about 12:30 p.m. when the person pulled out a gun and shot Mignault several times, said LAPD Criminal Gang and Homicide Det. Scott Smith, who is handling the investigation.
Authorities were called and Mignault was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have yet to make an arrest. Witnesses described the shooter as a male Hispanic.
Authorities did not know if Mignault and the shooter knew each other, Smith said, but it appeared the incident was gang-related.

@ Watts life, where in the report did you read that the victim had a gun?. Or do you know him personally to know this of him?. Are you living by the gun?, because you know your statement will prove true for you as well. Watts life smdh, you must be from one of the Watts projects.

~Sadden~ I agree with you. Watts life sounds as if he was there running the streets with Elden or he knows who did it. That statement would sound better if you followed it with some facts to back it up. Maybe you know something and are afaid to tell;if so call it in anonymously, something ,just help find the killer.

I miss him with all my heart we grew up together and the last time I talked to him was a year ago....and who ever put live by the gun die by the gun was probably the person who did this to him
