Out the blue I became so angry and you would think more than three years is ample time to deal with a loss. I have discovered that I will grieve this until I die. So, I am starting to believe that death is not so bad.

I'm just a random person in Philadelphia but I've thought about you just about everyday since you posted this. Please stay strong, LaQuita, there are more people pulling for you, thinking about you, and praying for you than you know.

And no, "truth hurt," that's not what she's saying. Miss Suggs' loss occurred three years ago and she is still struggling with it. It has nothing to do with the sentence of the killer.

My life without my mom continues to be a struggle. I have really tailored my services to working with victims of crime. I have been waiting for the day when I can think back and make sense of this. Until that time I will continue to heal and bridge the gap to recovery. To the random person in Philadelphia, thanks for your thoughts.
By the way he was charged with murder and given 15 years to life. He was remanded to a prison up North. It's my belief that this will hunt him for the rest of his days.
