Emilio Moncayo, a 34-year-old Latino, died Friday, July 24, after he was shot several times in the 500 block of East McKinley Avenue in Pomona, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
Sgt. Matt Stone of the Pomona Police Department said Moncayo was sitting on his front porch when several people walked up. At least one person shot him, police said.Stone said the investigation was still underway, and he did not have a description of the suspects or a motive for the crime. No other information was immediately available.
